The all plastic Dometic 300 toilet was cheap and creaky. There are also several well known issues with it. A better toilet was a critical upgrade for my wife. We swapped for a Dometic 311 with a ceramic bowl and a standard toilet seat (with soft close!). We chose the low profile height which worked out great for our kids.
Shower head
We installed the very popular Oxygenics BodySpa RV shower head. It works great and I highly recommend it. I also added a true on off valve to the shower. I have a one way check valve I still need to install to help stop the hot water burst we get after pausing the water.
